Sasha, a young Black female in her late twenties, is enjoying a girls night out in the city with a few friends. Toward the end of the night, she receives a text message from Steven, a young Black male in his late twenties she has been casually dating. Steven invites her to a late night rendez-vous via text message. With a few drinks in her system, Sasha is in the mood for companionship. She plays hard to get for a while, but after a few more text exchanges she agrees to meet Steven at a hotel room right outside the city. They meet up and make love. The next morning however, is a different story. Sasha wakes up to an empty hotel room. She checks her phone for a message from Steven and finds three: the first explaining why he had to leave, the second thanking her for a great night, and the last telling her to check the drawer for a special 'thank you'. Sasha does, and much to her chagrin, she finds a large wad of cash. Disappointed, she gets dressed and leaves the hotel room without the money to preserve her last bit of dignity. Outside, Sasha misses the bus and is without money to take a cab. She makes a few unsuccessful calls to her sister for a ride, and is harassed by an obnoxious man in a passing car. Fed up, Sasha takes the walk of shame back to the hotel for the money.
