Ramesh, a private investigator, is emotionally tormented by the recent death of his wife. When he is approached by Veronica Loh, to locate the whereabouts of her missing husband, Ramesh takes on the case seeking a much needed respite. However, the closer he gets to finding her husband, the deeper he plunges into his darkest days.
After being actively involve in the Singapore filmmaking scene for the past 8 years, S. Viknesh felt that a feature film is a natural progression. Thus he wrote, directed and produced, "True Love". Even though he is based in San Francisco, California, he was adamant that his first feature film has to be a truly Singaporean film. Thus he went back to Singapore for 2 months gathering the resources to make his dream a reality.Viknesh is inspired by the work of modern greats such as Steven Soderberg, Oliver Stone and Mani Ratnam and with the legendary geniuses of Akira Kurosawa and Jean - Luc Godard. Singaporean filmmaker Eric Khoo was also a source of inspiration for the conception of "True Love". Viknesh's films can be summarized in 3 words: Entertaining, Enterprising and Enlightening.
