A montage of sequences deploying half-true memoirs, foreign language propaganda texts, classical tragedy, and a visual poetics of extremism, matched with absurd accounts of transgressions in self-presentation along multi-gendered and political party lines. Affiliation as a visual jigsaw, with abrupt, rough audio from the gut and for amusement.
Eddy Falconer is a multidisciplinary artist currently living in Northern California. Past major film and video works have included IBERIA (2006), which won Best Avant-Garde Picture at the Swansea Bay International Film Festival '07, and TAROT OF BERLIN (1998), shot in the aftermath of the fall of the Wall and completed in the US. Other endeavors have included avant-garde theater, performance art, drawing, painting, writing, and photography.
