Road; art; dreams; love; abandonment; madness; death; abyss. Lost in the road driving his car with no destination, André presents his "caravan-spectacle", "The Grand Nomadic Circus", in small towns. He is a wandering troubadour that finds himself lost in the abyss amongst reality, dreams and nightmares. "Afternoon in the Abyss" is the existential adventure of the drifting artist and how he relates to death, dreams and life.
Pedro Oswald Padilha Studied Visual Arts, Theatre and Motion Pictures. Directed two short films in Brasilia: "Copo de agua" and "Os Quatro Vertices de um Triangulo Obtuso", featured in festivals of the city. His road lead him to the city of Buenos Aires where he met the production team that made possible the making of "Tarde en el Abismo", his first feature film.
