synopsis The compelling story about a girl named Amanda, a popular and carefree seventeen year old high school girl who had it all; a wealthy family, great friends and a handsome boyfriend, who decided to drink and drive, and in an instant lost it all. Amanda's life turns from carefree teenage bliss into her own living nightmare as she tries to come to terms with the tragic results of her own decisions and deal with the hurt, loss and pain that results from her actions, leading to a guilt that she can no longer bear.
director Michael Tanner Cusumano, a young filmmaker, has written, directed, and produced the movies "Missing," "Sage," and "Amanda." The 17-year-old recently received a Rising Star Award by the Canada International Film Festival. Born in Burbank, California, Michael Tanner Cusumano exhibited an early interest in the art of filmmaking. At the age of 12, he enrolled in the New York Film Academy's summer program and began screenwriting, producing, cinematography, directing, and editing. Michael Tanner Cusumano was featured in an interview on the Academy's website in which he talked about how the school has shaped him as a filmmaker.
