synopsis
In an ever-changing corner of New York City, a longtime resident realizes she no longer recognizes the neighborhood that she calls home. Unsure about her future, she is confronted by a young man with a direct link to her past. She is forced to ask: When do we hold on, and when is it time to let go? Shot on 16mm film on the Lower East Side of NYC, on locations that have since been demolished.

Clayton Dean Smith is a New York-based writer-director and an actor in theater, film and television. He also serves as a Vice Chair of Midtown Manhattan's Community Board Five. His first short, Off Track Betty, screened at QWFF in 2018 and won the Kodak Award for Best Work Shot on Film. It is available on Comcast Xfinity and at offtrackbettythemovie.com
