synopsis
A very young looking Spanish speaking teacher arrives at his new American school where he is to teach....however he is mistaken for a student. He must spend 30 days as an American student. He doesn't make it two days. Spoiler Alert: Keep an eye on the mustaches!!!

Santiago Ossa worked with QWFF Filmmaker Mentors Don Cato, Katha Cato and Kay Wong to develop this ‘fish out of water' tale while participating in the University Neighbor Middle School After-School Program in partnership with the Henry Street Settlement. Student as Teacher won Best Director and Best Actor at the 2017 DYCD Sonyc Film Festival
