Sara Koppel is one of the last standing animators in Denmark, who is still drawing on paper, an art she have been practicing since she started on tegnedrengene and Swan Film on Valhalla back in 1984. Since then, she have been working on all major animation movies in the 80's and 90's with Jannik Hastrup and A. film, and since 2002 with her own studio Koppel Animation. Sara started in the Danish Animation industry as 14 years old and made over 20 very small hand-drawn animated independent artfilm over the last couple of years.
