synopsis
This is the story of Paul, a broken man. A man who has lost everything. A man whose home is now like a ghost town, attracting rubberneckers every day, from all over the world. Since his birth, Paul himself has never gone farther than a few kilometres from this place, because his heart belongs here.
director
Jánik von Wilmsdorff was born in 1994 in Bonn and is a student of photography and design at Fachhochschule Dortmund.
Beside his study, he starts filming documentaries in a series called "The last of its kind", in which he portrays people in dying professions. Being a director and a cinematographer allows him to get very close to his protagonists.
