Sheila Fernández Avellaneda (Barcelona 1986) is a film producer and director. She has a degree in Audiovisual
Communication (UVIC), Audiovisual Production (CP Villar) and Master in Film Director (ESCAC), has worked as Director and
Producer for more than 10 years and has had the opportunity to shoot in countries such as Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Asia ...
Her short films have been selected to participate in numerous national and international festivals. With Dama Blanca she had the
opportunity to be at the Cannes Film Festival ShortFilm Corner and Filmets de Badalona, among others.
She has also worked directing videoclips for UniversalStudios and currently works as Producer in one of the most important
agencies in the world MaCcann.
Her latest work The Hive has just won the Notodofilmfest for Best Documentary festival
