synopsis
THE DAM is a horror story about disquiet waters, angry woods, and the man haunted by it all. In the North Woods, a dam worker is surrounded by mysterious disappearances of locals and brutal deaths of his co-workers deep down in the reservoir. He tries to get away from the nightmares, only to have his personal demons follow him into the water.
director
Matilda Szydagis holds a degree in Anthropology from the University of Chicago; acting credits include Sopranos, The Ruins, and she currently plays Zelda on Amazon's The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Ric Sechrest holds degrees from Syracuse (BS, Acting), Ohio University (MFA, Acting), University of Maine (MA, Directing). Both are horror buffs and reside in NYC.
