synopsis Josh & Jeff Crook were trouble makers as kids growing up in Brooklyn. As young adults, they decided to start making movies. Not able to hold jobs employed for someone else, they work together to make movies on their own terms.
director Peter Blitzer began his advertising/ production career at Emirati Puris/ Lintas where he began as a temporary secretary in 1997. By 1999, Peter was producing full-up broadcast commercials and radio for Burger King, GMC Trucks, Dell Computers, Johnson & Johnson, and Ortho McNeil. After the merger with Lowe & Partners in 2000, Peter began producing award winning broadcast TV and radio on the Heineken business. Realizing that he had learned a great deal about making advertising, moving projects through bureaucracy, and diplomacy - Peter realized that he had not learned a lot about filmmaking that was his original interest in production. Peter left the agency side to learn how to line produce. As a freelance line producer, Peter also learned to do every crew job, camera operating, directing, and editing. In 2002, Peter began his own production company - Peter & Polly Entertainment, LLC. Peter & Polly Entertainment focused mostly on corporate video, but also consulted to companies such as OfficeMax for digital needs. Seeing client digital needs grow, Peter joined the agency side again in 2006 when he was hired at R/GA to produce the agencies' most intricate and challenging interactive experiences/ gaming while helping to create and build the agency's internal production facility, R/GA Digital Studio. The Verizon Broadband projects Peter produced won Cannes Lions, Clios, LIAAs, and Webby's for the agency. Each project also created and industry first in terms of digital capability. In 2007, after a year of being open, R/GA's digital studio grossed $3,000,000. This number was accomplished with four editors, four producers, one graphics person, and one stage manager. As leadership changed at Digital Studio in late 2007, Peter was named Interim department head of R/GA's Digital Studio. Now desiring to work at an integrated agency rather than just purely digital shop, Joe Guyt brought Peter on as freelance at Euro RSCG Worldwide to produce broadcast and digital for the 2008 ExxonMobil campaign. Peter is now staff at Euro RSCG Worldwide overseeing the NYSE, OFI, and IBM accounts for production as well as playing in active role in the creation of Euro's in-house production facility, Cavalry.
