A Day at the Pool is a documentary-style film that attempts to uncover the true origins of modern skateboarding. Interviews with Tony Alva, Stacy Peralta, Jay Adams and the rest of the Dogtown Crew reveal that an anonymous local kid may have been largely responsible for the skateboarding revolution that lead to their success in the late 70s.
Ian Douglass and Eric Fulford are filmmakers based in Culver City, California. Their film, Day At The Pool, has collected several awards on the festival circuit and will soon air on FuelTV. They are co-owners of Salt, a creative studio in Culver City, where they direct commercial and promo campaigns for clients including Fox Sports, FuelTv, Chiat Day and Scott Free.
