synopsis
Mariko flies from Japan to New York in search of her long-distance boyfriend, Tetsuji, who had disappeared after stating that 'he had began living with god.'Soon she finds Tetsuji living in his apartment with a strangely attired 'god' figure in an African mask. The strange aura between Tetsuji and his god, along with the faraway memory of 9/11 and the mystical energy of New York City, begin to affect Mariko, pulling her into a psychological labyrinth.Tetsuji's god had been blown away when the twin towers fell, and had roamed the city before encountering Tetsuji. The god cannot do anything by his own power. He is able to exist only supported by trust. Mariko attempts to reveal the god's identity, and the strange triangular relationship comes to an end. And a new world begins.
