synopsis The story of a woman at the crossroads of her life. Part dancer, part drug-dealer, Stephanie reaches a turning point after she is robbed of the money she owes a New York City drug boss. Confronted by her impending doom, she descends from day into night, as she juggles a client, a stranger, and her best friend, on the way to an inevitable showdown between her, the drug boss, and the mysterious thief threatening to derail her life.
director Amil Dave started out in film school at the State University of Buffalo, then worked as an music engineer in New York City for about ten years. He recorded and mixed songs for artists ranging from Jay-Z to Mariah Carey. Amil was also production manager for Sony Japan recording artist Toshi Kubota, who has sold over 10 million albums worldwide. Amil produced and managed Canadian-born singer, Sumeet, who is also his wife and co-producer. He recorded, mixed, and co-produced Sumeet's song "Agony", which featured reggae singer Elephant Man and was an underground hit released by Universal Records. Amil has shot and directed celebrity interviews, such as Kate Winslet and Anne Hathaway, for various companies. He also produces audiobooks for Audible.com and other publishers.
