Mission specialist Shannon Wendell spends one last night in New York City with a stranger before she embarks on a 135 year long journey to the distant planet of Gliese 581g, or Odessa.
Cidney Hue is a filmmaker living and working in NYC. She graduated with honors from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts for Film & Television where she has written, directed, and shot several of her own short films. Furthermore, she has experience working on over 50 films and projects, completed the 35 mm filmmaking program at the Film and TV School of The Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU), one of the oldest film schools in Europe, and co-directed and edited a feature documentary on the Amazon rainforest. The doc, Shark Loves the Amazon, toured nationally at college campuses and premiered at the World Sustainability Forum in Manaus to a symposium of world leaders and policy makers in 2012.
