A son comes to realize his mothers independence has manifested unexpectedly while coming home to visit her on what he believes to be a typical Sunday meal.
Ante Novakovic: Being born and raised in the Bronx, New York, allowed me an affinity for the characters I came to know in my neighborhood as well as the characters I got to know onscreen in movie theaters. From as early I can recall I was always mesmerized by the magic of storytelling in movie Theaters as well as the unfolding dynamic of humanity on the streets of the Bronx. Having had the good fortune and opportunity to work alongside many directors, actors throughout my career in the industry, has influenced my enthusiasm and continued passion for the medium of story telling through film.
I graduated from The New School University in New York City in 2004 where I focused on writing and filmmaking. Through multiple stage plays and screenplays I began to hone my craft continually.
The opportunity to create “TAMMY” with a very talented cast and crew was an absolute highlight in the process of striking a chord between limited financial means and story. I strive to tell a very human essential story of family and how it may or may not have the ability to adapt to change or become stuck in defined roles. Essentially these characters are caught in an invisible limbo, part environment, part belief and inherited norms. The realization of "TAMMY" in its entirety has been all the more a fulfilling journey inspiring creative paths ahead.
