synopsis With Austin's life going nowhere and his pipe dream of becoming a legendary stuntman on hiatus for the last 27 years he confesses to his best friend Reggie that there is something about his past he can't remember and has been haunting him recently. In a bizarre spiritual ceremony Reggie sends his mind back in time to the place in his past when he was a kid to discover what it is he has blocked out. It is during this mystifying voyage on the Holy Hindu night of Diwali that a young Austin finds himself in some hair-raising situations where he discovers the obstacles that keep him from unlocking the doors to his future. He soon realizes that in order for him to escape the chains of his past, he must reveal a buried secret that may risk him losing one of the most important things in his life.
director The son of immigrant parents from Greece Johnny Pik was born and raised in New York. He went on to obtain a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Stony Brook. In 2005 his father passed away from a hit and run accident and from that moment on he was driven to pursue his passion in life, acting and directing. In 2006 Johnny Pik played several characters in a few independent films and his love for acting grew to Directing.
In December of 2007, Johnny Pik formed PikTV to bring his style of offbeat, quirky comedy to the big screen. His sister Chrysa Pik and Johnny wrote the feature film "The Falling Guy" and Johnny went on to direct a short version of the film "Diwali Dream Garage" to gather interest for the full feature.
