synopsis A depressed, and often manic, puppeteer leaves home to do another day of penance, trying to absolve the tortured memories of a drunken night when the monster that dwells within him was unleashed.
director Jaime Fidalgo was born in Madrid, Spain, but was raised in Guadalajara, México, where he spent his childhood and found his passion for movie making. At age 18, he began his quest for a film career that catapulted him to cities such as Madrid, New York-for the One-Year Filmmaking Program at the New York Film Academy-, and Vancouver, to study screenwriting at the Vancouver Film School. To date, he has written and directed 10 short films that have been screened around the world obtaining official selections and awards in a variety of film festivals. Jaime is currently in the development stages of his debut feature film, Levantón, a complex psychological thriller whose script has obtained excellent results in its path through international screenwriting festivals and laboratories.
