synopsis A journey through a day in the life of people in Downriver Detroit Michigan as seen through the eyes of a new employee of Stan's Place Bar, a gritty little hole in the wall establishment. The Bar owner Stan Loganowski's personal life hidden by his gruff and abusive demeanor is exposed through the Bar's employees and patrons. This journey will take you on a roller coaster ride of emotions and in the end realize that love comes in many different forms.
director Scott A. Galeski is a veteran Police Detective from Downriver Detroit who spent several years undercover in Detroit's narcotic underground. Galeski has taken his experiences and transformed them into award winning projects. Galeski is best known for using real ex-convicts, gang members and everyday citizens in his casts. Galeski's unique insight brings a sometimes harsh reality of our social climate. Joseph Johnston, a film graduate from Alma College has been nominated and won several awards for his direction of "The Tank" , "Fatima's Ghost" and "Let's All Go to the Movies". In 2008 Johnston's production company Uranum City Films, teamed up with Galeski's Ring of Fire Entertainment and has continued to bring entertainment to the Independent Film scene.
