synopsis
This documentary will take the viewer on a journey to reveal the sources of drug addiction and suggestions to putting an end to this destructive habit. The documentary will be broken down and focus on three main points: What is a Drug? Causes/ Effects of addiction? Consequences? Interviews include drug dealers, former drug addicts, and families etc. The name "Silence" stems from the concept that people who are addicted to drugs and family members of drug addicts live in silence and the documentary will give a voice to the voiceless..."even a whisper is louder than silence" The majority of the documentary will focus on stories of drug addicts and family members of drug addicts. Interviews will be throughout New England so the audience could have a better perspective on different drug addictions. However, the documentary will not focus specifically on one drug but rather the effects of all drug addiction and the social reasons people initially get involved in such behavior.
