synopsis
Edward Forester's career and personal life have hit rock bottom-but not his spirit. At 64, the handsome bachelor moves in to a tiny apartment and must start over again.

director
At seventeen years old, Shane Stanley had already received his first Emmy Award for his work on Desperate Passage (1987) which starred Michael Landon. Over the next few years he learned film making under his father Lee Stanley on what became known as The Desperate Passage Series (1988 to 1995) starring Sharon Gless, Edward James Olmos, Marlo Thomas and Louis Gossett Jr.. The self-produced series earned a total of thirty-three Emmy nominations, (winning thirteen) and often scored #1 in Prime Time Neilson Ratings. From there, Shane went on to produce several motion pictures which starred actors ranging from Charlie Sheen and Donald Sutherland to the late Marlon Brando. He then began collaborating and writing screenplays for Golden Globe nominated filmmaker, Zalman King (9½ Weeks, Red Shoe Diaries) before launching his own company, Visual Arts Entertainment in 2001, which produced the #1 Box Office hit Gridiron Gang starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. In 2004, Shane made his directorial debut with A Sight for Sore Eyes. The film starred Academy Award nominee, Gary Busey and went on to win over two dozen prestigious awards including an invite to compete in the annual Cannes International film festival. Since launching Visual Arts Entertainment, Shane has produced/directed over 200 music videos and television commercials and several motion pictures. His latest, "Mistrust", which just completed principle photography, stars two-time Golden Globe winner, Jane Seymour and is scheduled to hit theaters next year. The Untold Story is the first collaboration between Shane and his father Lee since Gridiron Gang.
