synopsis Miles awakens from a long slumber of depressive behavior. At last, he's had enough of himself, but once he discovers that his best friend has been been comforting his girlfriend behind his back, conflict and a pursuit of vengeance seem inevitable.
director John Say is very proud to be a part of the Queens World Film Festival. After receiving his BFA in Music Theater from Elon University in North Carolina, he continued studying acting and direction under Mary Boyer at MTB studio here in Manhattan. John has appeared all over the independent theater and film circuit In New York. His favorite roles have included Mikey in LOVE SLAP! at the June Havoc Theater, Man/Detective in OR WHAT SHE WILL in the NYC Intnl. Fringe Festival (received Best of Fringe acclaim), Cardenio in the TRAGEDIE OF CARDENIO at the Drilling Company Theatre, and the Alien in the highly anticipated short film, A DAY AT THE BEACH by Scott Bourne and Phil Robinson of 10 Streets Prod. (lead special effects artists on Gravity, 007 Spectre, and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, among others). John is thrilled to have his debut in writing/directing films come to fruition with TIMSHEL making it's world premier here at the QWFF. John continues making films here in Astoria, Queens, currently working on his third film, SANITAS PACIFICA, hitting the festival circuit later this year.
