synopsis
Monsters and Animals is a short, surreal film that follows a day in the life of Alice as she navigates both human and monster interactions.
director
Rachel Garber Cole is a film and performance artist living and working in Brooklyn, NY. Past films include, Pregnant and Dying (Portobello Film Festival, Anthology Film Archives, Cinema Club), News (commissioned for Heat: A Night of Collaborative Friction) and her recent film, Monsters and Animals. Rachel is a recipient of the 2012 BAC Community Arts Fund Grant and the 2014 BAC SPARC grant, and has attended residencies at Prairie Center of the Arts, The Studios of Key West, and ISLAND's Hill House.
