synopsis After having received unexpected news, Katherine Vander witnesses her life breaking apart in a matter of seconds. Katherine begins an unstoppable journey to be reborn again. As the boiling water awaits the infusion of senses, also the true Katherine waits in silence to be rescued from inside herself.
director Ana Ventura Miranda, born in Portugal, followed her career as an actress and producer. After moving to New York in 2006, she worked as a journalist for the Portuguese television. While working as a journalist she maintained her network with the artistic community in New York and developed her skills as screenwriter and director. 'Tea Time' is Ana's first short film where she wrote the script, produced, directed and edited the movie. 'Tea Time' won the audience award at the student show case of DFA at Anthology Film Archives. Currently she is involved in several projects as director and screenwriter. Ana is also the producer and creative director of an event to promote young Portuguese filmmakers in New York.
