filmmaker's note
Relationships can be many things. Beautiful. Complicated. Meaningful. Suffocating. Empowering. The list goes on and on. But most of all, I find them inspiring. Not just the relationships between lovers (although they hold a special place in my heart). All kinds of relationships. We all can relate. We all have them. And then there is New York. One of the most interesting, most inspiring cities. But also a city so fast-paced that you sometimes forget to breathe. Having lived there for a number of years, maybe this is one of the reasons why "WORDS" is the opposite of fast-paced. Maybe the characters needed to breathe. There is a beauty to silence. Even if it is painful.
