synopsis
When Benjamin’s boss at Arkema Corp. sends him to present the annual report at the company’s national conference, not all goes as planned.

director
Mark Clauburg made his first short film at age 14 using a borrowed VHS camcorder. After graduating from college with a communications degree, he started a production company and began teaching video at local colleges. At that time, Mark also began collaborating with creative partner Peter Lisowsky on various projects, including numerous music videos for Lisowsky’s musical outlets and Savior, a 76-minute documentary on organized religion. Mark co-wrote/directed the feature Before the Snow, which won Best Drama Feature at Atlantic City Cinefest in 2015.

filmmaker's note
Hotel was written during the weary and delirious AM hours that followed endless days of post-production on our feature film Before the Snow. The story is ridiculousness incarnate, an attempt to explore contrary themes, and represents an obscure homage to the art and artists that inspire.
