Cosimo is a gifted child with a mysterious secret and a doll. His deceased father left him with an intense perspective about identity, death, and freedom.
Andrea Cecchi Vannucci is a director and film maker from Florence, Italy. While working in Milan and Stateside, Vannucci's endeavors have included collaborative and commercial film with the likes of Bvlgari, Workshop of Semi-Precious Stones of Florence and narrative film including his debut Io non Devo (I Don't Have To), a short Italian language film which is having its World Premier at Queens World Film Festival in New York City in Spring 2017. Current projects include multiple fashion films and the feature-length elaboration of the short film that Io non Devo is inspired by. Vannucci studied film production and direction at the Experimental Film Center in Milan, Italy and graduated from University of Graphic and Multimedia Design with a degree in Film Direction.
