synopsis
An accidental meeting between a recently widowed man and a young girl will change both of their lives forever.

Mark began his career as an educator, teaching high school and college video production in the early 2000s. After earning a terminal degree in instructional technology, he transitioned to leadership positions in higher education. He is a principal member of Manmade Productions, a collective of filmmakers and musicians from New Jersey who have been working together on various film and music projects since 2005. Most recently, the group has produced several award-winning films, including Before the Snow and Hotel.

Unlike the previous films we've made with many actors and many locations, The Last Visit was meant to be an exercise in simplicity: two actors in one location. The film is inspired by and dedicated to my grandmother. Catherine (Kay) passed away in 2001, less than a month after I got married. Her kindness and generosity knew no bounds, and I hope her spirit comes alive in this new project.
