synopsis Carmen, a young actress, is trapped between the love she feels for Pablo and her marriage with Joaquín, Pablo's best friend. When she learns she's fallen ill, she embarks on a trip with one of them, which will change all of their lives forever.
director Juan Pablo Arroyo Abraham studied film directing in New York in 1999. When he returned to Mexico he opened in his home town Morelia a film school and production company named Solaris, inspired by the great filmmaker Andrei Tarkovsky, where more than 100 shortfilms were produced. Solaris had the honor to offer workshops to local students by directors such as Werner Herzog and Gus Van Sant.
Personally Juan Pablo has directed ten shortfilms and documentaries and one feature film. In 2008 he won the prize for Best Documentary with "Clandestino" (Underground) at the Morelia International Film Festival. In the year 2009 he completed a master negree on filmmaking in Madrid, Spain. "Day Six" is his first feature film which he directed and produced in the year 2016.
