Amazingly authentic, the film Open Land offers an intimate portrait of it's protagonist, living jazz legend John Abercrombie. This wonderful encounter is as poetic and dense as his music. Open Land is a very personal portrait that gives an insight into the life and work of this outstanding artist.

Arno Oehri, *1962, is a Liechtenstein based multimedia artist and filmmaker. Open Land is his second international feature documentary after the portrait of argentine guitar Maestro "Eduardo Falú - Canto al paisaje sońado".
