synopsis A Fairytale from Iran - A story about the power of Music This live-action animation short, is the incredible story of The Giant of Garmeh, and 4 year old Lemoni Yazd’s adventure when she meets him. This giant has Magical Powers! He can slay mighty dragons and evil monsters, just by the cadence of his wonderful music.
director David Vee is a filmmaker, author, musician, born in Sydney.
David has directed 1 Fairytale, numerous music videos, 1 feature length documentary and 5 short documentaries, various theatre productions and more . . .
From February 2003 until July 2006 he lived and worked in Pakistan, writing his first book: A Pakistani House Husband (the beauty & the chaos).
He then moved to Thailand for 3 years where he made his first short film.
**From July 2009 till January 2012 he lived in Iran.
* David is currently living in Tanzania working on several projects including a documentary on witchcraft & Albinoism! And performing live with his band/theatre group - The Pakistani Experience.
In the 80's David was a founding member of Sydney experimental group Idiom Flesh, who were on the first 2JJ Live at the Wireless album.
