synopsis
"Rooftops of my city" (orig. "Daecher meiner Stadt") tells the story of two Brooklyn neighbors who meet on their rooftops - both foreigners and artists from Europe. In their loneliness they find each other, both seeking for connection and searching for an answer to where is truly "home".

Maya Jasmin lives in Brooklyn. She is Japanese-Polish and was born and raised in Ulm, Germany.
Maya is an actress with a BA from the Goethe University in Frankfurt (Germany) and is an alumni of the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City.
She was also the cinematographer for the award winning short film "Waiting Room", directed by Charles Ouda.
"Rooftops of my city" is Maya Jasmin's debut as director and writer.
